Okay…so what the hell happened in the last election? Our President sent us in to a war on faulty evidence and now has us locked in a quagmire for which he’s all but conceded he has no exit strategy. Our economy is slumping along (not “turning a corner”) and the rest of the world (Tony Blair notwithstanding) hates us. And yet, somehow, our President manages to keep his job. What the F*&$?!?
The other 48% of us who decided it was time to send the president home are a group of people who refuse to be manipulated by an administration that happily redefines and ignores facts wherever they see fit. It’s not that we’re arrogant, we’re just not ignorant. And we don’t have patience for people who are. If you lost your job during the current President’s tenure, don’t give him another shot! Republicans give all their followers fun names. “NASCAR dads.” “Security Moms” (Geesh). We have a name too. We’re proud of who we are, what we believe, and our ability to ask questions (and understand the answers). And we damn well should be. We’re blue-staters.
